CS Course After 12th

Students who enroll in the three-year Company Secretary program learn how to manage the legal responsibilities of an organization, such as filing tax filings and maintaining records. The Firm Secretary is actively engaged in the strategy and decision-making of a company, as well as the process of ensuring that all company operations conform to all applicable legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Under the Company Secretaries Act of 1980, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is responsible for the training and regulation of company secretaries in India. ICSI has a membership of about 65,000 people and a student body of around 250,000 people on its rolls.

The cost of the Company Secretary Foundation Course is INR 3,600, the cost of the Company Secretary Executive Course is INR 7,000, and the cost of the Company Secretary Professional Course is INR 12,000. The Company Secretary Foundation Course lasts for eight months, the Company Secretary Executive Course lasts for nine months, and the Company Secretary Professional Course lasts for fifteen months.

The CSEET test is now available to take; it has taken the place of the CS Foundation exam. Students who want to enroll in the Company Secretary program after completing their 12th year are exempt from having to take the CSEET test. Students who want to enroll in a Company Secretary Course after they have graduated are free from the requirement that they pass the CSEET.

Result 2022 from the ICSI

ACCORDING TO THE ORGANIZATION, the ICSI Result 2022 for the December session Professional and Executive Program will be revealed on February 25, 2022. It is necessary for all enrolled candidates to submit their registration ID and roll number in order to get their results/scorecard. Candidates may now submit applications for the verification of marks and the certification of answer booklets till March 18 and March 27 of this year. They will be required to pay the appropriate fee for each topic they are registered.

Graduates of any field, with the exception of fine arts, are eligible to enroll in the Executive Program of Company Secretary Course. This program may be taken in conjunction with Chartered Accountant courses. Depending on the firm, an entry-level corporate secretary may make anywhere from INR 3 to 5 LPA as average pay, while an experienced company secretary may earn as much as INR 20 LPA. Legal Advisor, Corporate Planner, Investment Banker, and other similar roles are among the most in-demand job profiles today.

However, entrance to this class is granted to students of any discipline who are working toward completion of their 12th-grade criteria. When Should Someone Become a Company Secretary?

  • Candidates who have completed their 12 standards and are interested in entering a rewarding commerce area are eligible to apply for the position of Company Secretary (C.S).
  • Additionally, applicants must be older than 17 years old in the calendar year in which they seek admission to the Company Secretary course.
  • Candidates who are currently doing their Class 12 board exams are also eligible to apply for the position of Company Secretary (C.S).

How Does One Obtain the Position of Company Secretary?

The Company Secretary Examination (CSET) is required to be taken by anybody who wishes to pursue a career as a Company Secretary (C.S). Students who have already finished their 10+2 education are qualified to enrol in this programme. This examination is broken down into three different course levels: the foundation course, the executive course, and the professional course.

Candidates are required to first enrol in the Foundation Course, which serves as the first level of the overall curriculum. Upon passing, students are required to enroll in the Executive course, followed by enrolment in the Professional program. After reaching the Professional level, there is one more management training round that must be completed. Candidates who successfully complete the program will be formally certified as Company Secretary (C.S.) graduates. In India, the annual compensation for the role of Company Secretary is 6 lakhs.

CS Foundation: Eligibility

Students are not permitted to take the CS Foundation Exam unless they first demonstrate that they satisfy the eligibility requirements. The following are the conditions that must be met to qualify:

  • Candidates who want to enrol in the foundation course offered by the Company Secretary (C.S) program must pass the entrance examinations for their 10+2 level education.
  • The candidates are required to have obtained a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks on their High School Leaving Examinations from a recognized educational institute or one that is equivalent to it.

Fee Structure for the CS Foundation

Candidates interested in participating in the CS foundation program are required to pay both an entrance fee and a tuition cost. The cost of each of them is 1200 Indian Rupees (INR), while the other is 2400 Indian Rupees (INR). The entire cost of enrolment in this class is 3,600 Indian Rupees.
