CSEET Exam 2022 : Important Chapters and Topics

Syllabus and CSEET Exam Pattern for the CSEET

The study material cseet has been posted on the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) website – icsi.edu, for CSEET students. The testing authority offers online classes to prepare students for the CSEET 2022 exam. 

As a result, before sitting for the CS Foundation Exam, students should review the CSEET entrance Exam Syllabus and CSEET Exam Pattern to get familiar with the CSEET subjects and important topics covered in the exam to plan their preparation correctly.

 

Introduction of CSEET

This exam is administered by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and is considered to be a qualifying admission test for enrollment into the CS Executive Program.

This CSEET Exam is performed four times a year, generally in January, May, July, and November. It is a standardized entrance exams conducted at the national level.

This entrance test will be conducted in English, and the goal of achieving it is to train and certify applicants who want to pursue a career as Company Secretaries.

 

Qualification requirements: CSEET Exam

Before going for your CSEET registration, candidates should ensure that they meet the qualifying requirements. If an applicant wants to be considered for membership, they must fulfill the minimal qualifying requirements established by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

  • A candidate who has passed or is due to sit for the Senior Secondary (10+2) Examination or an equivalent examination is qualified to enroll in the CSEET.
  • Candidates who have Graduates/ Post Graduates are eligible for registration CSEET exams.
  • Students who have already passedICAI/ICMAI, are exempted from CSEET exams.
  • Only resident of India, are eligible for pursuing CSEET and candidates should least be more than 17 years old.

 

Syllabus and CSEET Exam Pattern for the June 2022

There are four papers for the CSEET 2022 test in total:

  • Paper 1 : Business Communication (50 marks)
  • Paper 2 : Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning (50 marks)
  • Paper 3 : Economic and Business Environment (50 marks)
  • Paper 4 : Current Affairs, Presentation and Communication Skills (Viva Voce) (50 marks)

Each paper in the CSEET Syllabus is separated into portions based on the units covered in each examination section. Candidates should thoroughly review the modules and analyze the syllabus before proceeding.

Although the first three papers in the CSEET Syllabus and CSEET Exam Pattern will have 35 questions each,

And the fourth paper on current affairs will have 15 questions, according to the syllabus and exam pattern.

Candidates must get at least 50 percent in aggregate and 40 percent in each paper out of a possible total of 200 points to be considered successful.

 

Business Communication (Paper 1): CSEET Syllabus

The CSEET Syllabus 2022, Paper 1, is split into four units, which are as follows:

The first unit of the exam, titled Essentials of Good English, is aimed to evaluate the candidate's mastery of English grammar and vocabulary, while the remaining three units will evaluate his or her comprehension of different fields of business communication.

Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning (Paper 2): CSEET Syllabus

Paper 2 of the CSEET Syllabus 2022 is intended to assess the candidates' fundamental comprehension of the law, legal aptitude, and logical reasoning abilities, along with other things. The paper is divided into two parts: the first part consists of five units that evaluate the candidates' knowledge of the Indian Constitution, company laws, and legislation; and the second part consists of five units that evaluate the candidates' knowledge of the Indian Constitution, company laws, and legislation.
